Well, one of my favorite shows premiered this week, "Gray's Anatomy". This was also the premiere of the new spin-off show "Private Practice". I watched the two hour pilot of "Private Practice" back in May. I was not impressed. I don't know if it's a matter of getting use to the character or what, but I wasn't the crazy about the show.
I was also not that impressed with the premiere episode. It was ok, only mildly interesting. I'm not too sure I'm going to stick with it or not. It did not do well in the ratings either, so I was not the only one.
Grey's Anatomy followed on Thursday night. I enjoyed it again, but only mildly. I even notice now when they are trying to tug at your emotions. I use to just be caught up into it, but I can actually spot the emotional sequences now. It also did not do as well in the ratings. CSI killed it. It beat it by 21%.
ABC originally moved Grey to Thursdays, so it could compete against CSI. The first year it did pretty well. So far this year, not so great. I will definitely stick with Grey. I'm still interested on what's going on with the characters. Private Practice I'm not so sure about.
